Adolescent Dialectical Behavior Therapy Group


Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based therapy that focuses on developing healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate emotions (coping), and improve relationships.

This Adolescent DBT group is intended for adolescences, ages 14 to 17.  It incorporates learning and practicing behavioral skills, while also focusing on building positive relationships and gaining peer support through the group setting.  Skills covered include mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation.  Anyone can benefit from participation in this group. 

Common concerns include: ADHD, bipolar, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and self-harm.
