Dr. Jillian Fitzpatrick, PsyD.

Dr. Jillian Fitzpatrick, Clinical Director and Owner of Hopeology, PLLC, is a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in adolescent and adult mental health. She holds a degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Child and Adolescent Psychology from Adler University in Chicago, IL.  Dr. Fitzpatrick provides individual, group, and family therapy, along with diagnostic assessments to children (ages 6 and up), adolescents, and adults.  Her experience spans private practice, therapeutic day schools, inpatient hospitals, and at an Illinois Youth Center, providing her with a well-rounded perspective on diverse treatment settings. 

Dr. Fitzpatrick has specialized training in trauma treatment, addressing PTSD, anxiety, depression, and burn out. As a parent herself, she also takes a specialized interest in helping to support moms.

She brings an inclusive and culturally sensitive approach, considering the impact of various diversity factors on mental health Committed to building a safe, empathic therapeutic relationship, she tailors her holistic approach to enhance physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, blending multiple therapeutic interventions for comprehensive care.

LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR | SPECIALIZING IN GRIEF, TRAUMA, AND CHILD PLAY THERAPY

Francine Brottman, LPC

Francine (she/her/hers) is a compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor with an M.S.Ed. from Northern Illinois University, specializing in counseling for children, adolescents, young adults, and parents and families. She brings expertise in addressing issues such as grief, trauma, gender identity, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, school challenges, and family dynamics. As a certified facilitator for Rainbows Support Groups for Grieving Children, Francine is deeply committed to supporting children experiencing loss. She has a particular interest in working with children and families touched by childhood illnesses, such as cancer. Francine has extensive experience with diverse cultural backgrounds across various therapeutic settings.

Francine is also a retired attorney, whose legal career focused on child advocacy, with an emphasis on the educational rights of children and adolescents. Within this role, Francine attended many IEP and other school meetings, advocating for clients’ needs and ensuring access to supportive educational environments.

Francine uses a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, tailored to each client’s unique journey. Her integrative methods often incorporate CBT, child-centered play therapy, and other creative and evidence-based interventions.

My goal, as a therapist, is to walk with you on your path toward change and better self-understanding. Change brings uncertainty. Outside of counseling, Francine enjoys reading, writing and journaling, creating art, exploring new ideas, and experiencing the wonders of nature. She cherishes being with family and friends. She values her time volunteering and bringing joy to others. She enjoys trying out new, tasty vegan recipes on her family. Her dedication to self-care and balance enables her to bring a grounded, nurturing presence to every therapy session.


LICENSED CLINICAL PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR | SPECIALIZING IN ADHD, ADDICTIONS, AND RELATIONSHIP ISSUES

Jacob Camiliere, LCPC, NCC

Jake is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in Schaumburg, IL. Jake has worked with teens and young-adults in the Intensive Outpatient sector through individual case management and group therapy. Jake collaborates with clients and their families to create long-lasting positive change. Jake has extensive training and experience working with clients aged 10 and up, addressing ADHD, social anxiety, depression, procrastination, substance abuse, career challenges and relationship issues. As an LGBTQ+ allied therapist, Jake is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment.

Jake tailors therapy to each client’s unique goals, helping them identify and achieve that they hope to gain through therapy. His approach combines evidenced-based interventions with relatable, personalized strategies, making therapy engaging and effective. Jake utilizes a range of therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existentialism, and Solution Focused.

  He strives to create a safe, empowering space that encourages clients to step out of their comfort zones and tackle life’s challenges.

Jake believes self-care and balance are essential to leading a healthy life. Outside of therapy, he enjoys attending metal concerts, playing video games, watching movies, and spending time with his friends and family.

 LICENSED SOCIAL WORKER | SPECIALIZING IN CHILD THERAPY, ADHD, AND AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER

Tiffany Alexander, LSW

Tiffany Alexander is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with a Master’s degree from Aurora University.  Tiffany has extensive experience working with children, starting at the age of 5, as an elementary school social worker.  In addition to working with children, she provides therapy to preteens, teens and adults within the individual, group and family modalities.   Her expertise covers a wide range of mental health concerns, including ADHD, depression, disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-injury, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, trauma and abuse, family separation or divorce, grief and loss, and school refusal.  Tiffany uses a cognitive behavioral approach to working with her clients, complimented by a strengths-based perspective, to empower clients to recognize their abilities and reach their potential.  Tiffany is currently under the supervision of Dr. Fitzpatrick and preparing for the Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) exam.

Tiffany values family time with her husband, children, and dogs. She enjoys traveling and prioritizes self-care, recognizing its importance in maintaining balance and well-being.

Rachael Ann

THERAPY INTERN | SPECIALIZES IN ADULTS, COUPLES AND FAMILY THERAPY

Rachael Majus, MA

Rachael Ann, M.A. is a dedicated therapy intern at Hopeology PLLC, supervised by Dr. Jillian Fitzpatrick.  She holds an M.A. in Psychology from Pepperdine University and is currently completing her M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. Eager to apply her academic training to practical experience, Rachael offers individual therapy (ages 10+) as well as group and family therapy. Her areas of interest include supporting clients coping with depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, life transitions (such as break-ups, job changes, and relocations) and personality disorders. Rachael takes an integrative approach to therapy, prioritizing each client’s unique needs and tailoring her treatment accordingly. She employs a variety of therapeutic techniques, including client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), art and expressive therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices.

Rachael believes in fostering a compassionate, individualized therapy experience that aligns with each client’s goals. Her integrative approach supports clients in navigating life’s challenges with confidence and resilience, emphasizing personal growth and mental well-being.

In her spare time, Rachael enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She values travel, reading, and taking “calming” moments throughout her day to practice mindfulness and recharge.
